I'm here to make sure your strategy works the way you think it does.

I'm Maigh Houlihan, and I've spent the last three decades inside large, complex technology organizations where strategy, product velocity, financial pressure, and human behavior all collide at once.

I've built and led internal communications functions supporting more than 9,000 distributed employees. I've worked alongside CIOs, CMOs, CHROs, and product leaders through growth, restructuring, operating model shifts, and the occasional "how did we get here?" moment.


What I've learned is this:

Communication problems are almost never about writing. They're about clarity.

Leaders believe they're aligned because they were in the same meeting. Teams believe they understand the strategy because they saw the deck. Engagement scores look steady. And yet decisions start drifting, tradeoffs get murky, and friction shows up between functions that used to move smoothly together.

That's the stuff I notice quickly.

I pay attention to where language diverges, where priorities compete instead of reinforce, and where people are filling in blanks that shouldn't exist. I ask uncomfortable questions. I connect dots across strategy, operations, and culture. And then I help leaders tighten the system so the strategy actually shows up in daily behavior.
